Glue down method This method is suitable for most of Engineered Hardwood Floors and Solid Hardwood Floors. We use flexible one component, solvent free moisture curing polyurethane timber flooring adhesive. For traditional solid hardwood floors, after 1-day of installation, the floors are proper to sand by machine. Floating method This method is suitable for Engineered Hardwood Floors, Pre-finished Hardwood Floors and Laminate Floors. As the wood planks are not adhere to the subfloor, it cannot be sanded by machine. First, lay EVA sheet (2 mm. thickness) on the smooth, level subfloor with tape. Then, lay wood plank by put latex glue at the wood plank tongue & groove.
